Question 1

What is CartKestrel being built to do?

Accepted Answer

CartKestrel is planned to help independent shops identify broken product links, missing product details, and stock mismatches between what a product page says and what inventory shows.

Question 2

Can CartKestrel access or monitor my live shop now?

Accepted Answer

No. Live shop access and monitoring are unavailable. No checks are running, and CartKestrel is not sending reports.

Question 3

Can CartKestrel make changes to my shop?

Accepted Answer

No. Shop edits are unavailable. CartKestrel is planned to suggest issues for shop owners to review; it does not change a shop.

Question 4

When will CartKestrel be available?

Accepted Answer

There is no committed availability date. CartKestrel is still planned, and no launch date has been announced.

Question 5

Does creating an account or saving a shop profile start monitoring?

Accepted Answer

No. An account or saved shop profile does not connect CartKestrel to your storefront or start monitoring.
